authentic handle upgrade for buckler?
I have a 15" plain steel buckler from GDFB. I have heard some people complain about the weight of these 14 gauge bucklers. I don't think it's all that bad, but I really don't like the handle (another common complaint). What were the handles like on original steel bucklers? I'd like to find out so I can make an authentic replacement.
Nobody? Anybody?
Have you tried googling "Buckler Shield" or something like that? Or try using the search function here at myArmoury. There are at least a dozen threads on the subject of bucklers.
See my posts in this thread:

The RA buckler has a wooden grip with associated suspension strap.
