Hello there

I'm the proud owner of this sword but its in a bad condition. I was wondering if I can restore it to a somewhat more representable shape.

The inscription says (from what I can read): Les gardes de la troisième section du troisième B premièr legion

u leur Lupitune (?) Joseph Flon

1866-1891

Looks more like "Pour le Roi et la Patrie" (For King and Country).
