I thought you guys might appreciate some photos I took last night. They are of my only sword (Albion Crecy), and it's scabbard by Brian Kunz. I'm by no means a photographer, but I do enjoy messing around with my DSLR.

The pictures were taken with my Canon T3 Rebel, kit lense, and Giottos tripod. They were set on 100 ISO, 30 second exposure, using 4 candles for lighting (no other lights on in the house). Seeing as how the subject matter is a sword, I thought the candles would give it more of a medieval feel than artificial light. Three of the candles were in a candelabra, and the fourth was by itself. To make the lighting more interesting, I put the fourth candle on the opposite side of the subject (usually near the pommel) to counter the light from the other three candles. Anyways, on to the pictures:

scabbard and chape (both are hand-made)

That second photo in particular is stunning, as is the subject. Nice work.
