Anglo Saxon broken back seax
Here is a broken back seax. The blade is wrought iron and high carbon steel, with auto-hamon. The handle is oak.

Very nice!

I've always admired the simplicity of the seax.
Very nice sir,

Seaxes are great and your's looks especially nice. How wide is the spine? Is it completely linear running up to the point section?
Very nice work Jeff.
Gorgeous little seax there!
Thanks Guys! Jeremy, the blade is 5.5 mm thick and does not begin to taper till the tangent in the spine.

Jeff
A lovely piece of work. The wrought iron looks wonderful.
