miniature Japanese armor set and acompanying parts... HELP!

Hi,

I have a set of miniature Japanese armor with several accompanying items. I have never seen it put together and Google searches only found info covering the armor itself. I think the armor has something to do with Children's Day. I have pictures of what the set contains here:
