New Finish on our fittings
We've made a changed to the way we now do the finish on the fittings. Trying to move away from a "modern" look we have decided on this "Aged Antiqued" look for a more old world feel. This also leaves crisper details on the lines and decorative elements of Christian Fletcher's original designs.
I have posted several photos on our Facebook page of a few of the Signature swords with the new finish. Please check them out here:

Here is the Bristol as a sample.

There is also a pic of a custom wrapped Green Paracord AT307 that I think turned out well.

Thanks for looking.

Yes I think the new finish is a good choice or option as over polishing, unless done perfectly, will tend to round out some of the crispness of line and details like file work.
Finish
Hi Sonny,

I much prefer your new finsih. To my eye, it give a more period finsih. Good Job!

Yes, new finish seems more in keeping with what a sword should look like, I think. Bright, shiny finishes just don't seem...?correct ? ' for a sword. Blades yes..fittings get handled, soon dull up.
Looks great, and very well-suited to the overall aesthetic of the designs. Well done!
i like it - it gives a nice contract from the bight steel of the blade.
