I am looking for the most historically accurate kegs I can find. I have found a few at different places but I was not sure as to the authenticity of the items. I don't want modernized wares, but it does have to meet food safety requirements.

At the bottom there are the kegs and faucets, and there is a keg stand, are these items historically correct?

I am looking to use these to serve beer from (well to pour into our jugs) the beer would not be stored in these no longer than 10hours, is that a bad idea? should only wine and water be stored in these barrells?

I am looking to order at least one cask or keg, any recomendations of whom or where I should buy would be appreciated

Coopered vessels were usually bound with green hazel switches in two or more courses per band, sometimes with several bands on larger vessels. Iron bindings were used to some extent for very fine decoration on serving vessels and also as reinforcement on construction containers, much like how they are used on chests and other furnishings. Steel was too pricey for use on mundane liquid containers until the industrial age.

The barrels you referenced would be suitable to American Civil war re-enactment but not for medieval living history displays.

I found this oak barrel and food barrel which is exactly what I want... sadly at the price id be paying is at about $330 plus shipping for the two items. since im in the US this is going to make it hard for me to purchase. I can't seem to find any companies in the US... or at least I am not entering in the correct terms for search engines.

They have excellent barrels, but for medieval, you'd have to remove the iron hoops and replace them with withies.
