I'm from northern Italy and I'm (or should be) another 13th century guy
the first pic was taken from 2011 reenactment of Battle of Legnano (1176) and I'm in the middle with the blue surcoat, beside emperor Frederick Barbarossa in yellow

Great pictures! I really love the painted helm. I don't think enough people paint their helms these days. That's really great to see.

yes the heraldic one is my own while the black one is not, i borrowed that for the occasion ;)
