A gift custom made RSW sword

Shown above was a custom made cup-hilt cut and thrust sword, as one of the gifts for our dear customer who had endured a series of unfortunate events.

It looked like a missile and thrusts like a missile!
Folks, if you haven't seen - or handled - an RSW before, don't dismiss these at first glance. RSWs are *amazing* full-contact sparring swords, hand-built to replicate the handling of historical pieces as accurately as possible, while allowing for full-speed training.

I've posted about them before; the ones I have are weighted perfectly, the padding allows for hard hits with minimal armour, and the silver outer surface can be lightly oiled to allow for the swords to 'slide' on contact, similar to real swords. Lance has been making these for years, with feedback from serious users around the world. If you want a padded trainer, RSWs are where it's at.
Thank you for your very nice words and recommendation. :D Hope you have a nice time in your new job!
