Two new 13th/14th c. eating knifes
Here are my two latest knifes, well, one I made already early last year, but only finished the leatherwork lately.

The first one has a yew handle with brass and black horn plates, total length 22cm

and the scabbard (decoration based on Turku/ Finland find, madder died)...

The second one has an elder, bone and horn handle, total length 24cm

The cabbard is after a find from Schleswig which has drawn my attention for a long time...

Let me know what you think!

These are great! I really like the combination of the white/black bands on the grip with the white/black checks of the sheath on that second knife.
Hi Constantin,

Very very nice (which I have come to expect of you) and I especially like the leatherwork. Also really like the little file work detail.

Lovely all round.
