Here's a falchion I actually made years ago. I did a cleanup grind on the blade (better grinder these days means better finish quality) and felt a bit underwhelmed by the hilt. So, I did some re-shaping of the guard and created a new grip and pommel to go along. Grip is quite comfy, with the wire twist embedded deep in the leather wrap for just a touch of traction (plus visual flare!) The blade is 1/4" 7075-T651 aluminum, with steel furniture and a leather wrapped poplar grip. Has a wood-core leather wrapped scabbard. It will be on the For Sale page of my website in the near future. Feel free to PM if you're interested. www.jessebelsky.com/stageswords

Stats:
24" Blade
30" Overall
POB: +2.25"
Weight: ~1.8lbs

I really like this falchion and the subtle brown you've chosen for the leather. Very clean work.
