I am paring down my collection, and offering my early rustic cutlass, made by Richard Muskopf of Missouri. I have used this sword in reenacting for the last three years, but my pirating days are coming to a close. It has an Elk antler handle, iron mounts and knucklebow, peened pommel plate, and is heavily antiqued to replicate a sword that has seen a lot of action on the high seas. It is slightly sharp, but has not been used for cutting. It comes complete with a very nice custom fitted vegetable tanned sheath and matching baldric with brass buckle. Time period would be from late 1600's to early 1800's. The overall length is 27", blade is 21.5", and weight of sword is approx. 2.25 lbs. I am asking $400 plus shipping, but will entertain offers. I take checks, money orders or Paypal. Thanks for looking!
