Hello everyone,

I am going to be building a cutting stand using this basic design http://www.tameshigiri.com/make_a_stand.html

Instead of the dowel I will have a small flat square on top to place a pumpkin or other melon on. Is there a certain height you would reccommend based on my height or something? Is there a standard or average height to use?

I imagine one would need one stand for melons and another for tatami or pool noodles.
