I have been toying with this idea for some time.
Take a short, cheap projectile with a point, dart the size of a crossbow bolt and launch it with a cheaper weapon with great speed and energy.
One design would be a kestrophedrone, another adding an amentum and a third using some kind of atlatl.

What if I tried to combine an amentum and an atlatl, similar to the much larger black camel trebuchet.

Would it be possible to get even more energy into the throw with good accuracy, because I estimated that you have a much longer arc to transmit energy, so even with a slower angular speed much more energy should be transmitted by this great leverage. But does the spinning dart give enough accuracy with this great lever? If someone has ideas or sources on such a construction, I'm all ears. Possibly I'll settle for a modified kestrophredone with a short amentum instead of the sling.
