After seeing the pictures at www.prbm.com , it looks like their copy is in a bit better shape. If you visit their site here, http://www.prbm.com/interest/i.htm?eurolaw-a-c.shtml~main , there are more photos and description. The binding on the 1688 is more sound but there is some staining and the hnd lettered title is pretty well worn off. There is a dealer sticker in the back of the 1688 linking it to Vienna. I am, overall, suprised by the similarity between the two.

Body of Civil Law, In Four Separate Parts, Dionysius Gothofredus Author. (i can translate the rest, but it looks like the big capitals flow into the sentence below, and i can't make any sense out of it, as i can't read it. the rest of it is waaaay too small...

something about an Index of all Titles recently having been made, most accurate and with (too small italics thereafter) etc etc...
