Custom Handmade Scabbard: Albion Reeve 7-4-2011
Hello myArmoury community!

I just finished up this weekend an Albion Reeve sword-less scabbard commission and I would like to share it with everyone. The scabbard is colored in a brown and black combination and suited up for a left-handed swordsman.

This was an extensive tooling project and took a lot of hours tooling in the design. I think it turned out really well.

Please feel free to comment and chime in with any questions as well!

Thanks for looking!

Nice work Brian. :)
ANother winner Brian. Your work always amazes.
Your scabbards are amazing. I am constantly impressed with the quality of your work!
Nice design/drawing and very nice execution of the design. :D

Used up all the good adjectives for your work a long time ago. ;)
Thanks everyone. I really enjoy doing this and hearing that I'm doing a good job is always rewarding!
A great scabbard for a truly great sword! I've owned three reeves' none of them were housed this well :( Truly amazing craftsmanship.
What is the significance of the ring near the throat. Is this a feature seen on sword scabbards of the 11th. c.?
Thanks for the compliments everyone.

The ring is something I've used before on a couple previous scabbards, and was requested by the client to be used here. Though I have no evidence or historical documentation, nor do I claim it to be historically factual, I simply have used it to represent what I think clansman like decorative attributes to a scabbard could be, in a plausible fashion.
