I am visiting Hiroshima, Japan in the late fall 2011, and I would like to visit regional museums related to arms and armor. I am also interested in visiting working sword smiths. Any and all suggestions would be welcome. This will be my first time to spend time in Japan. I hope to be there for two weeks. I may visit Tokyo, Kyoto and Nagasaki as well, if my schedule permits.

Try asking at the nihonto forum, they have a lot of members who live or have visited Japan. http://www.militaria.co.za/nmb/
