Here is what I have been up to the last couple of months:
I haven't had a chance to measure the knife but everyone who handles it comments on how fast and light it is (parabolic distal taper, deep fuller).
Let me know what you think.

Hey Ben I really like that scabbard you made for your cutlass, actually quite surprised that nobodys snapped that one up yet, it makes an even nicer set with that knife, anyway keep up the good work.

Thanks,
This one is sold. The buyer commissioned the matching knife and scabbards.

Very unique and beautiful work, man.I can picture a sailor on the Dawn Treader weilding those weapons.Inspiration for all of us
Wounds of flesh a surgeons skill may heal...
But wounded honor is only cured with steel.
We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves.
Each of us should please his neighbor for his good ,to build him up.

Oh, well then in that case I guess congradulations are in order, for both you, and the lucky buyer.

Thanks,
I was surprised at how long it took for all the brass rivets (but then there are several hundred) and how fast the engraving went since I got a set of real gravers.
Stephen,
Remember you can always commission a piece similar. I don't charge extra for custom work, just labor and materials, And you can have that piece that you always wanted but no one has made.
