MRL offering from about (wow) 9 years ago. Asking $175, no scabbard. Been used exstensively but still solid by all accounts. Some patina here and there on the blade which i will clean up as much as possible unless other wise requested. Not sure what type of wood the handle scales are. No cracks. No rattles. USPS MO only please. CONUS.

Hey Brett,
How is the weight? Well balanced? Flimsy? How well is the temper?
Topic title edited to follow forum rules.
IIRC the description in the catalog stated 2lbs 10oz. COG is about 4.5 to 5" or so. Fair amount of blade presence for so short a sword (but that mkes sense considering what it's designed to do. Rather robust little sword. In no way is it flimsy. I've split wood into kindling with this sword to no ill effect. Hacked miles of briars. I'd imagine the hardness of this blade in the upper 40's to as high as 50. I've notched it slightly a couple of times. Nothing severe though. In a word it's an ugly little "brute" or "thug" of a sword. Not pretty or fancy but in all ways tough. I've cut through mild steel 16 gauge fence wire with it. Dulled the blade a bit, that's all. The hooked grip really lets hack with it though. You kinda let it slide in your hand.
25" Overall
19" Blade
2.5" @ widest(apporx)
T shaped crossection with two fullers. Slab tang construction
PS Sorry Nathan!
