Pictures of arms from around the 14th century
I'm looking for artwork or historic finds with there source from arms around the 14th century. Like the Maciejowski Bible or the Romance of Alaxander, where u can see clearly what forms weapons had and how they where handled. I'm especially interested in to pole arms, because I re-enact a 14the century pikeman.
I'm really interested what more kind of weapons where used instead of the usual pike and halberd.

I'm really curious what u guys have for pictures or artwork.

Casper,
Hello and welcome to myArmoury.com. :) We have a lot of information on this site that can help you. I'll try to point you toward some.

-Maciejowski Bible. This is a mid-13th century work so it's our of your timeframe. It's been discussed here many times, though, and info on it should be easy to locate using the forum Search function

-Our Features Page has many articles that cover the 14th century. Our spotlight articles in particular cover armour and weapon forms used in the period, showing extant weapons/armour, period art, and modern reproductions. The article on Monumental Brasses might be a good one to check out as well, plus our great article on Ewart Oakeshott.

-I'd check out some websites that deal with monumental brasses and effigies, like www.gothiceye.com and http://effigiesandbrasses.com/ .

-For polearms, check this thread: pole weapons of the 14th century as well as 14th century pole arms

-There are many forum threads that deal with your area of interest. Just use the forum Search function to find them. :)

Happy hunting!
