A change of pace from what we normally do. this Type XVIII Features a type V Fish Tail Pommel and a modified Guard.
The Rest of the stats:
Overall Length: 38 1/2 "
Blade Length: 31 "
Handle Length: 4 1/4 "
Blade Material: CNC Milled 5160 High Carbon Spring Steel
Blade Width at Guard: 1 3/4"
Sword Weight 2 lbs.
Center of Gravity 4 3/4 " from the guard
Note: This Sword is made by Angus Trim for Valiant Armoury

That's a very attractive sword and scabbard. I like the scabbard chape - its shape a reflection of the pommel.. At 2 lbs. with whatever distal taper that Gus Trim designed in, it should be very light and fast. I wonder how much it costs?
There have been a number of recreated variations of this sword, Oakeshott, Records -- XVIII.4

Arms and Armor Lord of Milan (sadly discontinued)
and I'm sure there are some others
With a real ATrim blade, whatever else one might think of it, I bet it is the fastest of the bunch, and the best pure cutter.
