After taking a hard look over my books from last year I have come to the conclusion that I will have to raise the prices on the Privateer Armoury swords next month.

It will not be a major change but it is necessary.

I will still be offering the original prices on available pieces and commissions until February 1, 2011.

For any other man's,
Nor that I will be ashamed
Of my work torn hands-

For I have chosen the path I tread
Knowing it would be steep,
And I will take the joys thereof
And the consequences reap.

Ben,

I placed my vote for "too low". Although I have not handled your work, photographs and reviews show a consistant pattern of quality construction and great attention to detail. I firmly believe your pricing on this line is too low. On the other hand, we are still not out of the woods with the economy. This fact has many people (myself very much included) paying very close attention to spending on all items beyond shelter, food and transportation.

Even considering the current state of affairs and the generaly tight purse strings of consumers, I belive your craftmanship demands a higher price.
