Hi all,
My family and I took a trip to London during my daughter's school break. Here are some pics that may be of interest.

Tower of London's Royal Arms and Armour display. Good presentation, but the shifting light made it hard to take pics, my wife did a great job, though.

Globe Theatre Exhibition. A recreation of the Globe, Shakespeare's theater. The first few pics are objects found near the site, the rest are recreations and props that the Company use when performing.

The Wallace Collection. This was my must visit place. It's jammed packed with arms and armour and art. The displays made it hard to take pics, but at least you were allowed to take them, unlike other private collections I've been to. Toby Capwell, the arms and armour curator gave a presentation on the painted sallet and talked to interested parties (mostly just me) afterwards.

All the museums in London we visited had excellent cafes, restaurants or bistros. Great food at decent prices (for London). For us Yanks, the exchange rate is killer. The London Pass and London Travelcard are good ways to make your weak dollar go further.
