I changed the geometry of the blades on this run so that they are stiffer than the earlier ones without being too much heavier.

I voted for " different " but I could have also voted for daggers and messers are also to my liking but I prefer the earlier falchions.

All the others look good except that for me they are not currently from a period I'm focussing on but the messers are just at the limit.

That messer is even nicer than the previous one, and the knife is a lovely companion. I am unbelievably tempted to purchase those, but I have many other required purchases first.

All of those pieces are lovely and the price point is phenomenal. I'm just hung up on messers these days. I hope this line is working for you financially. Eventually you will break my resolve.

I like the look of your cutlass weapons... but would also like to see a saber or two. ;) As you know... I'm very tempted to pick up a saber from you...

Looking good (especially the messer) and very reasonable prices, too. Not so much into cutlasses, so I voted for messers, although sabers would indeed be awesome! :D

Are you asking for infantry sabers or cavalry type weapons?

These blades are basically limited to under 24" and must be wider than 1.5 at the fort.

God I love that messer. but it has to wait as there are just to many other projects in the offing right now. but I do hope soon.

I'll add my voice to those interested in falchions. Something like that messer blade with a basic sword hilt could be tempting.

I understand that you're trying to provide high quality but affordable edged weapons with this line and I really like the result because they are simple, clean workmanlike weapons

I'd be interested in a seax. If you can make that rondel dagger, you could make a seax. My personal preference would be one of the Scandinavian types that looked like the grandfathers of all the puukkos in the world but I'm sure most people would want the broken back style. For that matter, what's wrong with a nice simple high quality puukko? I'd also like to see a type X sword although I suspect a fullered blade might push it out of the price range of this line.

I like the messer a lot and I'd like to see a falchion too although they'd be a big departure in period for my budding collection.
Without opening a can of worms about period authenticity, I think the war knife types appeal to me more when the blades haves a slight taper leading back from the belly of the blade to the guard.
