And from Bulgaria, written in Cyrillic:

Or in Latin: "Vesela Koleda i chestita Nova godina!"

The meaning is the same: "Marry Christmas and Happy New Year!"

I got Mike Loades' new book so although not technically a 'shiny metal thing' it is sword related - quite good too from the few brief flick throughs I've had so far, looking forward to sitting down with it properly.
