Vikverirs resource page
Hi!

After a lot of work we are finally finished with our new resource page!

On the page you will find over 2100 pictures from Norwegian and Danish museums (Copenhagen, Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Trelleborg, Ribe, Esbjerg and Horten). These are both large overview pictures as well as close ups of details that would be hard hard to see with your eyes. Taken by nerds for nerds :)

Among the cooler things is several pictures of all the swords exibited in Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim... which is a lot :)

You can also find PDFs of Jan Pettersens "The Norwegian Viking Swords" and Anders Lund Loranges "The Earlier Iron Ages Swords".

The page can be found here:

http://www.vikverir.no/ressurser.html

If you have any questions, just ask them in this tread and myself or Audun will try to answer them.

Hope you like the page :)

Nils, on behalf of Vikverir
Those pages are fantastic - thank you, Nils!
Very useful -- thanks Nils.

Wow! I'm awed! This is a magnificent website. Such great photos and so many of them. A most sincere "nerd" thank you!
Wow!! What an incredible wealth of information. Thank you for compiling this.
Fantastic. Thank you very much, this is really the best of online museum visits.
Whoa, fantastic ammount of information there! Many many thanks for putting this up.
Good work and a beautiful site.

Thank you!
:D

(and now the urge to make a pilgrimage through Norway has reached new and painful levels of longing and urging...)
Great resource, and good download speed as well! Who could ask for more? :D
Thank you Nils! This work is a perfect resource! Something I have yearned to have for a very long time!
May I say congratulations and thank you! I thought I'd run over for a quick peek. There won't be anything quick about this it seems. There is far to much stuff to go through, to do it in one sitting. An incredible and much appreciated effort!
Hi!

I have just updated the page with some 780 pictures from a trip I made to London. These include pictures from The Wallace Collection, British Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, Tower of London and Museum of London.

You can find the pictures here as usual:
