I'm only holding off because when I buy a sword like the Morehead I like to enjoy it as my new toy for a while before I break down and buy another sword but certainly your review/evaluation of the OlliN Falchion is making the eventual purchase of one a virtual certainty in a couple of months. ;) :cool:

Oh, I see that a couple of the other Ollin offering on KoA have been sold as they are now " tagged ", if that is the right word for it, as being available in a few weeks as opposed to immediate delivery meaning presently in stock: Ryan mentioned that initially he would have one of each of OlliN's production models so that when the one in stock is sold one can tell because he doesn't have more than one at a time currently.

Anyway, just glad that OlliN swords are selling because as with our other good makers I want to encourage sales for them, this being the main reason for this Topic as well as just my being happy with my purchase.

Patrick, I love my Falchion. If I were doing early period stuff, I would own the Magnus Koll. I've handled one of them and it is freaky awesome. If you hold it like you are shaking someone's hand (with the pommel in the palm of your hand) it opens up so many thoughts of how they must have REALLY fought in a shield wall.

Just received my OlliN Morehead sword and the handling is very special and in a good way.

I'll play with it for a bit and write a short review of it soon: For now I have to say it's a sword and the exact opposite of a sharpened pry-bar: I Expected it to be good handling because of experience with an other OlliN made sword but it greatly exceeds expectations.

A quick teaser is that feels like is weighs nothing when you want to move it and has presence when you want to hit something
