Hi everyone. What can you tell me aboute these swords?

A German hand and a half knightly sword 2nd half of the 14th century Double-edged cutting blade with a shallow fuller on both sides. Straight quillons with a square cross-section with bevelled edges. Broad, slightly tapered tang with a sturoly octagonal p [ Download ]

Well, from those pictures, I can tell that the first one is most probably quite typical XIIa while second one is XVII.
Both still have certain elegance in their lines, were probably very graceful weapons when they were new.
Where did you find those pictures and descriptions?
