Pictures of historic Falchions - anyone can share a few ?
Hi guys.

I am taking a fancy in falchions as of late and wanted to know abit more about them.
somehow i thought there were two version of them:

1) clip point (example the ATrim version)
2) big "belly"

forgive my discriptive abilities - writing in a foreign language sometimes is not easy.

While looking for pictures my results were lacking to say the least. Do the actual historic examples go by that name or are they more in the category of "Messer" ?
I saw a picture of a historic belly-version but personally i find the clip points a lot more attractive. Is the Albion Vassal based on a historic specimen ?

Does anyone have any pictures or references to these kind of weapons ? Was thinking of getting in touch with Viktor Berbecruz but need a solid understanding first as well as some reference material.

Any input is much appreciated.

Thanks a lot.

Yours sincerely

Klaus
