Hey Tod-

Very nice work all around. I like every piece there. I am very tempted to get something, as you are well aware, but the money diet stays!

Though I must say that I hope somebody picks up that bauernwehr with the checkerboard bone and horn. I really love that piece.
Tod,

I'd be interested in a price on Landsknecht dagger, bronze and holly hilt - available shipping to Ohio 43015

Thanks,

Randy
Blimey that was a response!

Thank you and it will go nicely with the Seax you collected. Please leave the very bad seax jokes at home next time.

Here are a couple of pics of the dirk scabbard as requested.

I'm with Nathan on the Bauernwehr. Alas, my own belt is so tight I'm in danger of cracking a rib.

I assume that this means that they are selling like hot cakes. ;)

Always happy to hear about any of our top makers getting sales that will keep them in business.

Many interesting pieces by the way and if you have another batch of knives/daggers available for immediate sale in a couple of months I might have more cash also available " now " ( well then ).

I imagine that there are no problems shipping to Canada ? ( Royal mail passing it off to Canada Post with tracking ). Haven't bought any swords or knives from Europe before ? Are your VAT taxes applied to foreign sales or are they exempt ? Would be sort of annoying paying European sales taxes and then have to pay Canadian sales taxes on the same piece ?

Oh, still very happy with the baselard I won that you donated as a prize to " myArmoury ".

(EDITED/ADDITIONAL: Peter Cowan, a fellow Canadian, was kind enough to let me know in a P.M. that he has had no problem importing from you and others from Europe and the shipping even seems to be faster on average than from the U.S.A. )

Note: Another reason why this site is great and deserves support ...... couldn't resist sneaking that in ( Donate to the Fund drive if you can afford to . ;) :p

Tod,

I am interested in the Landsknecht dagger, bronze and holly hilt and the Bauernwehr depending on the price and availability (32771 USA Postal Code)

PM me.

Allen

PS I like the dirk too
Interested in the Holbein and Bauernwehr, shipping to 55414. Thanks!
Guys,

Message the vendor directly in private with your interest. Don't post a message and ask him to message you. That's passive communication and happens to include the entire world in your personal business.
Could you post a list of prices, please? I don't want to bother asking about anything specific... because I have no idea if I'd be interested without knowing a generic set of prices.
Thnx,
Z

I generally don't post up prices as I prefer not to, not that I have any particular problem with it, I just don't.......It is now out of my hands though as people have bought items with no price displayed so it would be bad etiquette for me to post up what they have paid - sorry.

However as a guide a simple bollock dagger would be £100, a simple quillon dagger £180 and most of these knives being a little more involved are in the low £200's, the bauernwehr I have displayed previously and priced at £380 (price already in the public domain) and dropped for this sale to £350. Shipping typically to the States would be £20.

All daggers come with scabbards, which in all cases have 1 or 2 metal fittings.

I hope that helps as a guide and sorry if it is a slightly annoying answer

Tod
The bit I did forget to say is thanks very much for your suppoprt and expressions of interest.

I really appreciate it.
