Extant Irish skeane inquiry
Hey everyone,
I am after images of Irish Skeanes of the 16th/17th centuries. I have see all the illustrations and the topics already posted, but I haven't been able to find an extant example. Thanks for any help.

Hi Jason, I too would be very interested in see some extant examples of skeans. The only one I've been able to find online was on the Limerick City Museum's site found here

Hope this helps, and I hope someone else is able to add other examples.
