All Hallows Eve had come and gone, but something was amiss. Pumpkin soldiers, more than a dozen, were forming a skirmish line in the windbreak. They may have been disenfranchised with the commercialization of "their" holiday or maybe they were upset at not being good enough for "front porch" duty. Whatever the case, they were mad and they were coming. Hurriedly summoning my Lady, squire and princess we defended our fief. The gruesome results of the battle tell the outcome.

(The poleaxe works great against angry pumpkins. Happy )
