Historical end date for Albion's Machiavelli?
This sword seems appropriate (let's say in a living history context) from about 1475-1500 but an end date seems more difficult to estimate.

I guess this is usual, because dating often relies on appearance in portraits, which are usually of people rich enough to afford fashionable swords.

Nevertheless, I would like to have an idea. It should definitely be suitable until 1550, but would 1575 or 1600 be possible, or would it be a stretch?
personally, I would have said that it would be appropriate to about 1540, and maybe into the 1550s to a degree. into the 1560's or beyond however, I personally think it would be pushing it a little too far.

but that's just my opinion.
Late 15th century to early 16th century. I'm saying 1475-1490 is a good date for it as produced new. That type and style of sword would have some legs to it. In particular, the Type XIX blade wasn't going anywhere well into and through the 16th century.
