Want to guess this maker
Some of you may have seen this mentioned elsewhere but it was news to me. Anyone want to take a stab at guessing who is turning this thing out? Of course if you read the name on the image that will give it away.

Hm. That could have potential. It's non-stainless with a hollow-ground blade.

Wow, heavy though.
Highland Steel?
Wilkinson - Though very heavy.
It seems like Wilkinson has realised where the money is - not in garish commemorative swords, but in useable stuff. It remains to be seen whether they'll find their roots: making swords intended for use, not parades and ceremonies.
I think it looks great. Nice tapering, hollow-ground blade. Nice looking guard and grip.

But 4+ pounds for a 33 inch bladed sword? I have a hard time seeing where all that weight is in that picture. That leads me to believe the proportions are good and the sword probably handles well. It's just a pound or so too heavy.
I like the look of this one quite a bit. It is hard to imagine how a relatively short bastard with a well tapered and hollow ground blade could weigh over 4 pounds  That pommel must be more substantial than it looks!

Anybody care to post a link?

Thanks,

Mike

There you have it. I think you all have summed up my thoughts pretty well. :)
