After discovering that Albion swords is in New Glarus, WI I decided to contact them to find out if they have a showroom (I live about 45min from New Glarus). Mike Sigman in customer service promptly returned my email letting me know that the showroom is available via appointment. I made an appointment and visited the showroom today.
The building is currently being renovated, so the showroom was not finished, but they had several models on display. Mike told me to feel free to grab any of them off the wall. I felt like a kid in a candy store. This is the first time I have seen in-person and dry handled an Albion. I was very impressed with the high quality fit and finish and balance of these swords. I was also very impressed with the customer service. I wanted to check out a Next Gen Knight, but didn't see one on display. Mike went in the back and got one.
I think one of my future sword purchases will have to be an Albion!

I know the feeling! I've been there myself and it's hard not to drool a bit. Thanks for posting pics of "the wall".

The Prince definitely caught me eye. I also liked the Sovereign.

If I ever make it to the USA I keep saying my priority is not Disneyland, Universal Studios or anything like that but Albion's showroom in New Glarus. My wife still thinks I'm joking.
I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, but that which it protects. (Faramir, The Two Towers)

Thanks for the pics. I have one Albion, a Squire Line Knightly Sword, which is like the Knight. Even though it is bottom of the line it so superior to others that I have. I love it. Looking at your pictures, I see a few other models I want. I may have to make a trip to Glarus. Then I could swing over to Montana to catch the Gibson mandolin factory. Road trip!

In my opinion Albion swords are too expensive at the moment.
Of course the swords are excellent and quality has its price - but not for that much money.
The price-performance ratio isn't really ok.
Ich dien.
