I bought this about 3 years ago from another crossbow maker because I loved it and I have always loved stonebows but as I hardly reenact anymore it has really just become a paperweight so it needs to find a new home.
It is based on a very defined style of about 1650 and shoots marble sized clay pebbles or indeed marbles and is perfect for shooting birds in trees, which was its purpose. It draws to 120lb and is easily cocked using the inbuilt lever and has a folding rear sight adjustable front sight held between the front sight trees. The cord and bead is missing from the trees but I will replace this.
Considering the work involved in it, I bought it for the very low price of £650 but I am happy to let it go for £450,$675,540 Euro. Shipping to the US would be £55 assembled or £40 if I knock out the bow and to Europe £50/£40, to the UK £30/25
