For Sale: Albion Riding Sword
This listing is marked SOLD and is no longer available

I found this last weekend from a few years in hiding and thought I would offer it up to someone who would enjoy it. If my Albion history serves me, this was one of a run of 25 done based on a one-off shop sword made for someone in-house. Out of the swords produced, I think this was number 23 or 24, and I believe it to be unique as Eric did me a favor and "dressed up" the hilt a little bit from the stock leather wrapped core. :D Sorry for the lighting in the pics. . . best I could do today. . .

I am thinking $350 shipped CONUS, but if you have a better idea, feel free to drop me a PM. Thanks!

Forgot one thing I need to mention. There are two small pits in the blade - one right on the centerline about 3 inches from the tip, one about half way down an edge, same face as the other. I cleaned/oiled it just now, but I'm going to leave polishing them out to the next caretaker, as the sword otherwise is as-shipped from Albion with the factory polish. Thanks!

Do you know the weight, center of percussion, and center of balance for the blade?

If I remember right (has been a long while. . .), the sword weighs about two and a quarter pounds, the COP is about 8" from the tip (about a third of the way down), and the balance point is about 4" from the cross.

Also, the length of the blade?

Based on the riding sword blade information that albion are selling on their bare blades page the blade should be 26 inches.
