Our lastest Living History event (plus armour porn!)
Hello All,

I haven't been able to hang out here like I did in the past with my job , WMA studies, and excess travel (that darn job again). But even so I thought you might enjoy our latest changes in our LH set up. This is just a hint of what we had there as there were 30 plus HRG members at this event.

Ive been tweaking my harness and now have a proper breastplate by Jeffrey Hedgecock (spring steel goodness!) I polished the rest of the harness to match. (I have my gown off to show off the new breastplate)

My new armour chest that I helped make

We built a judicial dueling square for our WMA demos.

It dropped 20 degs and started to rain... I finally got to wear my cloak after owning it for 2 years.

My WMA demo team for this event ( most of my students don't do the LH, most of the HRG doesn't do WMA)

Our faux 14th century house just keeps getting better.

3 of us did the puddin bowl hair cut for this event.

Two of our members are getting married so we as a group made her a new set of clothes.(An old village traditionof the 14th century)

and nothing like a demo from Codex Wallerstein...

"If you wish to be extra cruel, hold on to the testicles as he falls. This is a very good trick."

Cheers,

David
Looks like a great time! I would love to be involved with something like that.

...and your pictures have honestly inspired me to build a house like that in my backyard one day. :)
What a great group. I love that sort of informative history. Thanks for sharing the photos. Great kit by the way. Cool cloak.
Definitely looks like Alaska weather as I remember it. ;-) Great kits and sets!
The whole group looks great! I'd love to set up one of those houses someday...
I just love that armour chest. It's on my every growing list now. It was a very nice set up you guys had this year, just keeps getting better and better.

Cheers,

David
