Wondering if anyone might have an idea about this sword...I found it in the basement of the home I just bought and don't know if it is anything or just something I should get rid of. any help would be appreciated.

WAIT! Please don't throw it away! There are many folks around who would be happy to have this piece if the price is right. Try selling it in the "Marketplace" here. You won't get much, but it could help somebody with a project and keep this out of a landfill. If nothing else, donate it to a local theater company.

Matt, I think you shouldn't just throw that sword away. Its blade requires cleaning.
