Are you aware of this: http://www.replikart.com/ ? He can get anything by Del Tin, Hanwei, Viktor Berbekucz and he has some windlass stuff. Web catalog is outdated, you should call and ask what he has in style you like. I think he has in stock Hanwei sidesword and Cromwell, both cut and thrust 17th century swords.

If you don't know about berbekucz, here is his site: http://www.berbekuczviktor.hu/

Of course, I have browsed their pages. Didn't know that I could order additional pieces other that those in the web catalog (which is pretty sparse actually). If I do decide to go for the Hanwei sidesword, I will definitely try to get it through replikart, probably the postage will be less.

but that's only after I choose a sword ;)

Thanks for the info, fabri armorum in particular seems to have some interesting pieces for sale, swords here under 3a seem to be exactly what I am looking for.

I have handled a few swords by Jiri, though they were different models. More like 13th century single handed swords. They were all outstanding products for their price. I am sure that if you search for "Fabri Armorum" or "Jiri Kondrak" on this site or on e.g. Sword Forum International that you will find many positive reviews.
Regarding Jiri Krondek's swords...I have just found this video on youtube of testing Krondek swords, bending them in ways I didn't know was possible

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUBhgjaeUfY

Is this normal? Too flexible? Just about right?
I apologize for asking so many questions, but I have zero experience with this, and the last thing I want is that I buy some piece of cr@p sword which sours the whole hobby of sword collecting for me :\
As far as I know, that's how a sword should bend/flex. The Jiri swords I have handled were not whippy at all (and I have handled a few whippy swords). My Pavel Moc sword also bends the same way.
