Have had this around the shop for years - used to make a lot of them for historical fencers that wanted a gorget that could also be used for SCA heavy. Made from 304 stainless, 18 gauge. Size is medium; will take a 16" to 17" (405 to 435mm) neck. Distance from the trapezius to the rolled edge at the top is 2 3/8". Front to back adjusts from 8 7/8" to 9 1/2". Inner circumference is 18 5/8". Neck lames are mounted on leathers, not rigidly fixed to the base lames, unlike many that look similar. Unlike a typical SCA 'marshal's pacifier', it will actually protect the neck quite effectively if the baseplates are overlapped by a breast and backplate; a thrust to the throat will not move it back if it is held down by a cuirass. Great for strapping pauldrons to. $125 plus postage.
