Here's a nice little discovery I found via the magazine PC Gamer:
An inordinately fun flash game of the battles for England in 1066. Includes a three-battle "story mode" featuring Fulford, Stamford Bridge, and (of course) Hastings, "build your own" battles against the AI, and even multiplayer.
Command the English, Vikings, or Normans
