Thanks for the link. It's always nice to expand the PDF library.
heh, i scrolled through it to get a surface impression of the text and read

Thank you for the excellent images and links to the swords and beads in Copenhagen. It certainly pushes the dates back for some of the types of beads we've seen.
Generally, for the past five years we have kept to research on British beads as there was a wealth of information on them and it takes time to work our way through the various bead types. We've uncovered images/information on over twenty more Anglo-Saxon sword beads and are looking to more continental work now as we feel we've about covered most of the types from the UK.
Hopefully, in a few weeks or so we can see some of them being made up, as we have a few fairs to do and it may not be till after then when Mike has the time to play with new beads. There are some other interesting references we've found to 'sword tassels' as continental, generally Merovingian types of beads associated with swords. If I can find the citation, I will post it later.
If we have anything concrete to offer, we'll be sure to post it in this thread.

Hi Mike and Sue
I am sure Mr Pollington and Mr Mortimer could provide you with some information on Merovingian sword beads too.
Looking forward to seeing your additions to the collection that you offer for sale at TORM...mind you will probably have sold out by the time that I arrive on Sunday!
best wishes
Dave

Thanks, Dave. We've just sent a number of sword beads off to Paul, and will be speaking to Stephen at TORM, with luck. If you do come by, please be sure to introduce yourself.
Cheers,
Mike
