Hi,

I am looking for the earliest documented appearance of a tilt visor for the joust 'a plaisance' on a grand bascinet at the beginning of the 15thC.

Any images/links would be really helpful.

I'm not sure when the earliest documented appearance is, or any depiction of it in period artwork, but the oldest extant example is probably this great bascinet which is located at the Churburg castle:
