I'm continuing to downsize my collection. I'm offering for sale my "practical plus katana" that I acquired via trade at the OH Renaissance festival in 2006. Sword is in excellent condition. Blade and hilt components are still solid; I've used it only for moderate test cutting.
I am compelled to mention, however, that one if its targets was a pumpkin which means that there is some pumpkin residue on the blade here and there. While it's not harmful to the steel, I've found it quite difficult to remove. Though it doesn't seem to show in the photos, I felt I should make everyone aware. While it's more of an aesthetic issue, it's not detrimental to the sword's function or (more importantly) the user's safety - I wouldn't be selling it otherwise.
Nowadays, this particular model retails for about $275 (give or take about ten percent). My asking price is $235 + shipping to any US address. I can accept a personal check or money order.
