Questions about a halberd
Hello:

I really like this halberd and hope to have a replica of it one day, but perhaps without all the etching. Can anyone tell me any information about this halberd? What is its history? How tall is the spike? Are there any photos of the etched areas? Does it reside in a certain museum?

Of all the halberds I've seen, this one epitomizes the halberd design in my opinion. It seems to be a classic halberd. I assume with all the decorative etching, this was probably a ceremonial halberd. Nevertheless, that spike is still very intimidating!
