Patrick has been busy.
Three new swords, including the previously announced Vasby. A spatha http://www.templ.net/english/weapons-antiquit...oman_sword

A Viking http://www.templ.net/english/weapons-antiquit...king_sword

and the Vasby http://www.templ.net/english/weapons-antiquit...man_spatha

Don't drool too much.

Paul
Bloddy hell! He's done it again... gotta have to replace a keyboard from all the drooling on it I guess.
These are really nice as usual from Mr.Barta. The Vasby is just ridiculous. The texture on the hilt components of the viking is soooo cool, must've taken forever. Makes me glad to know my commission is up this year with him!!!!!!!
Patrick Barta is legend.

The viking sword is my favourite, though I must admit the other two are crazy pretty.
Patrick has been buey
Patrick has skills that would make Ragin the Dwarvf envious. he tells me that he should begin work on the Vlsgarde 7 ring sword that I have commisioned at the end of this year, my left kidney goes up for sale in the summer

I have the Abingdon due Oct/Nov or so. Donating plasma as we speak... :)
His work is good enough to humble any maker. Lovely pieces!

Did anyone notice that the planishing marks are different on the inside of the inlay vr the ourside of it? Amazing detail!
