We have just finished the first draft of a print catalog and put it up on the site in Adobe PDF format -- we have gotten a lot of requests for this. We'll keep revising it as new models go into production.

Nice catalogue. I like the placing of Peter’s concept drawing behind the photo of finished sword – that way you can easily see the differences that were made after initial designs.
Thank you for using metrical units as well as American ones! Although I know all the conversion rates, I usually just can't imagine the object with non metrical measurements.

I hope to get some better full length shots of the swords to replace these, but we'll keep Peter's drawings in the background. Digital photos will only go so far -- we need to start getting some good 35mm or larger format photos...
We are trying to make sure that everything is in both standard and metric -- so many more of our customers use metric that it has become a happy necessity!

We have a 5 mega-pixel camera and it does a great job on the close-ups, but I have yet to see a good full length shot that would be suitable for printing come from it. Lighting swords (and knives) for photography is such a pain...
And yes, complex hilts are in the works, but we are taking it slowly... the Type XIXs are the first foray, but once we get those under our belts, rapiers with proper ricassos and complex swept hilts aren't far behind...

However, I'm still going to bug Mike from time to time about pommel and guard varations fro some of the existing blades. I'd LOVE to get my hands on a Regent blade and with a pommel that likes my hand better someday. Its aethetically a beauty as is, but I have yet to learn how to grip it effectively all the time.
Besides...buggin Mike is fun. :cool:

Type XII with slightly downturned guard and brazil nut pommel...all I'm gonna say.

I completely understand wanting to take it easy. Have to keep the quality up after all. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what you come up with since that is the type of fencing ( classical sport fencing/smallsword) that I am most familiar with.

Well, there is a 19th Century duelling sabre in the works - based on a 19th century fencing sabre in my collection. Last I heard, it was ready to be input into CAD.
Hey Howy, any new news on this? are you guys going to put up some sort of 'coming eventually' blurb? I'm still getting quite a few questions from some of the Classical Fencing community.

Hi Chris!
All I can say right now is that we are working on it. We have been discussing and researching steels and heat-treating methods to get the best results -- and when Peter gets here in a couple of weeks, we'll make some final design decisions and schedules.

I also like the sketch behind the final production version - in the same proportion too, that's nice.
A note: The Knight - the photo closeup of the hilt is very pixelated compared to the other models. I think a smaller photo was used accidentally :D
