Arms of the Heruli
The Heruli, as most of you know, were a group of Germanic peoples who together with other tribes wreaked havoc in Europe during the first millennium AD, and probably originated in southern Scandinavia were they later are pressumed to have returned.

Are there any records or archaeological findings of Heruli weaponry and tactics?
Heruls was ostgermanisch (eastgermanic), lather was west Heruls in Gallia and Hispania (5 century). First reference we have from 3th century Heruls was by Azov sea. In 4th century after battle with Ostrogots Hermanarich Heruls living in central europe (Czech Rep., Oestereich, Slovakia, Hungaria).
Heruls have violent bearing (human immolation, murder their old man).
Langobard King Rodulf cut up Heruls army one part of this tribe was in Iliricum and one part in Scandinavia.
Heruls was living with Sarmats, Alans and Huns. Archaelogical excavation are influenced nomad horse riding tradition.
Determination Heruls burial ground difficult. In Czech are localities uned Brno (Blucina, Zuran).
In this time was using seax, sword with one or two edged glade, spears, axes, arrows, shield.
