In my "Knights at Tournament" book by Osprey, it is claimed that James VI/I took parts in the Accession Day Tournaments. But I can find no images or paintings of James I participating in any tournaments. There is a Greenwich armour supposedly belonging to him, now at the Tower of London, but I can find no contemporary illustrations of James I taking part in these tilts. Are there any?

After all the pomp and pageantry of Elizabeth's court, was King James just not exciting enough for people to want to celebrate him in a chivalrous way?
